Entangled is a modular furniture system that uses only discarded climbing materials.

Central to Entangled’s design is the use of standardised perforated plywood sheets, juxtaposed with vibrantly coloured ropes, featuring bold knots and intertwined patterns. The exposed layers of plywood – resembling topographic maps – create a soft tactile sensation that encourages haptic engagement.

Focusing on environmental responsibility, Entangled repurposes climbing rope – typically discarded after just a week of gym use – and plywood from discarded climbing walls.
